The final chapter has been reached.
The final chapter has been reached. Our beloved Mark gained his angel wings today peacefully in his sleep 2/2/2018 9:20 am may he fly with the angels and be part of the heavenly band. He is at peace and once again whole. In lieu of flowers here is a place to celebrate his memory.

It's Moving Time
Well after starting this journey in 2009 we are now to the point where we made a short sale but must move sooner than we thought. UPDATE! We must Move On ! ~ Legal fail :(
Having exhausted all legal options, we must move on and try to sell the house. If anyone wants any computer stuff or automotive tools and millions of knick-knacks or yard tools or kitchen stuff [you get the picture] we would love to help you out with either a donation of goods or a small charge for items we simply do not need :( Tough times but we all have them!.

Why I Relay ~ Argus Collingwood
Farrokh Vavoom [ real life name Mark Shilts] has been my husband, friend and life partner for many years. We married in the 1980's and have a wonderful son who is now 30. Mark has worked for many places like Lawrence Livermore Lab, Dolby Lab and did web design for Journey, the band, who we brought into Second Life for an experiment in 2007-2008. Then disaster struck in the form of a huge tumor located in the center of his brain. It left him unable to function and was in danger of killing him. He had an operation in October of 2009 that left him disabled. I am his Caregiver and Relay in Support of him and all others who are affected by disease and devoted to research that will prevent and cure any and all forms of cancer. Caregivers are an important part of Relaying and we appreciate all the help we get and give from being involved. Go Relay!

Short Update # 15
A short update: We are still trying to workout a settlement with our Mortgage company but they are dragging their heels and it is taking a toll on my sanity and spirits. I am trying to remain calm and carry on but between caregiving and keeping up a positive face for my dear husband, I am feeling like a hamster in a cage just spinning my wheel. Positive energy needed and prayer accepted. Love you all .. oh and a series of winning lotto numbers would help too ;)

Update # 14 Farr plays at Noon
Time for an update ~ The legal paperchase continues and i must admit I am often nervous about the whole thing but time and prayers will tell what will happen. In the meantime, Mark [Farr] will be playing his yearly Christmas set at Noon PST today in Second Life... Two Moon Paradise Winter Wonderland .. once again thanks for all the prayers and support we love you all ♥

Update #11 :)
Update: We are holding steady on all fronts. Mark is playing his music in Second Life and other than balance issues is in good shape. He is really enjoying audio books now as reading is tough due to his vision issues. I am always busy scanning various documents for the legal stuff, working at care giving and keeping busy in Second Life. We are so thankful for all the good vibes, prayers and good thoughts coming our way. Here is a blast from the past I scanned just because it was there. Our Journey friends will appreciate this

MRI Results Update
UPDATE MRI: Well, we went to the doctor for the MRI results and good news no new growth. This means that since the radiation about 30 months ago, the treatment is holding. Our Doctor Vincent Massullo and his staff are wonderful people. Warm, helping, friendly and compassionate . The Doc said something very Yogi Berra today to us, he looked at Mark and said, "You know, you are in really good shape considering the shape you are in." We all laughed and agreed . Next appointment, six months. Thanks for all the support and good thoughts and prayers ♥ Adding a photo of "Marco Ono" in his new travel transport fold up chair that actually fits in the VW bug :) May the Higher Powers Bless and sustain you all ♥

We sent out this hardship letter to our bank in hopes that we could qualify for a loan re-work but were recently turned down.. what we hope to do it get current on our loan so that we can keep our home.
"In October of 2009, Mark was discovered to have a Pineal Meningiomas tumor that required immediate surgery. He underwent a 12 hour operation, they installed a shunt to wick away excess brain fluids that would have caused his demise. They did not remove all of the tumor and further treatment is needed He is on Disability and as a result of the operation has impaired brain function, severe balance and vision issues and is unable to work. We fell behind on many of our bills soon after that. With our income not being nearly enough, we have gotten further and further behind. We are determined to pay what we owe, but we have exhausted all means—using all retirement funds and borrowing from friends and family. We have nowhere else to turn, so we feel it is time to ask if there is any way you could help.
Mark is currently on Medicare so that we may continue his tumor treatment is on Disability and cannot work and I am retired and his full time caregiver
We are eager to hear from you. Hopefully, we can resolve this issue. This is our only residence and has been in our family since 1961.
