Two Years since Operation ~ Update

As you may know, it will be two years since Farr's brain surgery and he has made great progress I am so proud of him . He does not play often yet but we will try and book him more and more. That said, I am never one to blind tp anyone or pressure anyone. My hubby needs your support. If at all possible please come to his gigs. It would mean a lot to him and I would appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. We have always supported our SL friends and only ask that once in a while you come and enjoy a set by Farr. Life is short, just sain. I am often asked is there anything I can do, this request is the answer;-) His Promo is below.

Escape was commissioned for Journey Rock Band Island when we brought Journey into Second Life as part of their web presence. The project lasted for a year and many fun times were had by all involved. Today Farr and I went to Gracie Kendal's sim to have our pictures taken that will be part of her Project 1000 Avatars that is to become a Memorial to Delinda Dyrssen http://1000avatars.wordpress.com/

Farr and I knew Delinda and her sudden death was a sorrow to us and her many friends.

Gracie says: "What started out as a set of 100 portraits to help illustrate the idea of online anonymity, has turned into a sort of documentation of avatars in SL. There are so many questions I have been asking myself and ideas I’ve been pondering throughout this whole process, especially on the idea of online identity.”

“Like many of my other projects, I started out with one idea: to take portraits of avatars facing away from me. That was it, pure and simple. I had the idea that I wanted them to be unrecognizable, their faces hidden, just another level of anonymity in SL vs. RL. I plan on printing some if not all of these portraits out in RL for an eventual show in a gallery as well as publishing a book.”

“Our online identity has become a way of like for millions of people around the world. Not just in Second Life, but on many internet sights you go to. When you look on Facebook, or Twitter, how many post pictures of their children or pets?
